Honeysuckle blooming
Sending out its perfume
And I don’t know
If I’ll stay or if I’ll go
Into those woods alone
It’s aching me
I will sit beneath a tree
Til kudzu grows over me
Poison ivy circling round my head
An initiation crown
Beautiful stillness is all around me
And I don’t know
If I even know how to move
Sitting here watching moths
Fly to the moon
Train is humming far away
I can feel it in my veins
And now I know
How my leaves turn to the sky
Even before I feel drops of rain
